A-Basin Opens Tomorrow

And thus it begins! The snowboarding season in Colorado official starts tomorrow as A-Basin is actually open. It’s the middle of October?!
I attended opening weekend last winter and I saw the strip of snow that A-Basin is calling a “run” when I drove up to Steamboat this weekend. All things consider, I believe I’m going to pass on opening day. It sure is tempting, but falling on the run is much like falling on the bare naked rocks.
Come to think of it… I should probably buy a pass soon…
