Snowboarding Helmets: Get One
Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007I’ve experimented at the expense of my own cranium and have concluded that snowboarding helmets are, indeed, a good idea. This is a spill I took at Steamboat last week where I bonked my head pretty hard. Notice I landed the jump fine and then fell. Normally, I don’t have any problem catching myself in a fall. However, after 5 days of hard riding, I was too tired to not only stay up on the board - but I’m also too tired (weak) to catch myself with my arms as I fell forward.
