I picked up this pair of ski gloves. The tag says they’re not recommended for snowboarding… Are they serious? Why in the world would that be?

Weird! Maybe a branding decision, trying to appeal to skiiers more.
I’ve got a pair of Level gloves which are pretty good me.
What model are these gloves?

Thats weird. I’ve got a pair of Level gloves which are fine for me. Maybe they’re banding them to appeal to skiiers - go for the mass market.
